The First Church Summer Arts Camp hosted by Messejah Washington was established to provide a space for young children ages 3-8 to create art on the south side of Chicago. These workshops will occur every Saturday from 10am to noon at First Presbyterian Church for the summer and is intended to welcome the children of immigrants to their new home and for them to forge relationships with children in the neighborhood through the universal language of creativity and love while their parents seek legal advice from lawyers that operate inside the church.
